I am hopeful for all of you because within every comment here is the desire to see Jesus manifest. Manifest in a way that makes serving Him and being part of the Body of Christ worthwhile. Arrogant Jezebel spirits that operate in people cause division and cause the move of God to come to a halt if their is not a strong intercession backbone and a congregation that wants more to see His Kingdom come and His Will be done more than appeasing the strongest controlling personalities in the vicinity. So many christians are man pleasers. Their is only so much hypocrisy and weak kneed christianity one can take. If you see it do not run from God, I am a witness to the Power of God and what can happen when the Body of Christ gets it right. I thank God that He is bringing judgment to the Body of Christ and to (as a side bar) the government for that matter. Remember we do not war against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities of spiritual wickedness in high places. When you recognize the spirit that is moving in situations it time for you to use your weapons of warfare which are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds in the Name of Jesus. Let the Word of God that is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword have its effect. We have to take a stand a raise the banner of the Lord Jesus Christ if we want to see our situation or the situation change. Thank God He is moving with the refiners fire through out the churches that are crying out and humbling themselves and seeking His face. God is healing their land. He rewards only those who diligently seek Him. It is easy to complain and to go oh wow look at how messed up some of these people are. But see God takes fools and uses them to confound the wise. Be a fool for God you all, and believe on the One True God and His Word. I myself have personally left church for long periods of time because of my disgust for the self righteous religious yayhoos that had their hooks in every cranny of the church from leadership on down. I know where you are coming from but we have to move on to perfection somehow.

I understand how you feel. You have touched the heart of my book, Spiritually Limping... I May Be Limping But I Am Still Walking! My prayer for the body of Christ is that we all ccome into this knowledge. Understanding that the answer is in our connection to the Father and not in our strength, education or our abilities.

God uses broken people and through our broken-ness others are delivered and He gets the glory. We are all imperfect vessels which can be used by a perfect God to bring about perfection in the things of the Spirit.

Our willingness to surrender our all to Him, is all that is required. He can fix whatever is broken and use us to save others and thereby save ourselves. Yes! He is more than enough.

Thanks so much for checking out my podcast. I appreciate that you're listening to a different perspective.

I do have a question though- what exactly is the "sacrifice" that a father must be "more commited to" than his job? I understand that these guys want to ensure their daughter's "purity' (which in and of itself is a very LOADED word...) but what do they need to be doing apart from trying to instil a sense of self respect by NON-HYPOCRITICAL example?

I know I learned the most from my folks by absorbing how they BEHAVED, and not empty gestures and pagentry.

By their logic shouldn't we be having "Morality Balls"? or "Pay Your Taxes Balls"... or whatever?

Just wondering what you would reccomend is the PROPER thing to do when trying to instil a sense of self respect into one's children.

[and the failure rate of abstinence programs in most cases is over 50%, not 30 by the way.]

Anyway- I DO appreciate you listening, and I'm sorry that I come across as trying to prove how smart I am. Believe me- I'm a schmuck of the higherst caliber.

Thanks-
